Fernie Transfer Station

This 5,600 sqft building was supplied and installed to the Regional District of East Kootenay for their new Transfer Station located in Fernie, B.C.. The facility was constructed on an elevated foundation, with approximately 200 lineal feet of fiberglass translucent wall panels which allowed for lots of natural light into the interior. The gable endwalls also featured a transition color break for additional architectural appeal. In addition to the main structure, the facility also had smaller single sloped “Recycle Enclosures” constructed from pre-engineered steel.
