Ahousaht Water Treatment Plant Secondary Treatment Operations Building 2

This 5,800 SF building is the second of the two building project for the Ahousaht First Nation Waste Water Treatment and Marine Outfall Project located on Flores Island on the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC.. This building is the plant’s Secondary Treatment Operations and consists of a Northern Roof System, Full interior metal wall liner, horizontal corrugated exterior cladding and fully galvanized structural steel. The structure is designed to support a 2 tonne bridge crane as well as to Post-Disaster design requirements to ensure the building can withstand catastrophic forces of mother nature. Due to the very remote location of the site, MBG had to ensure planning and coordination with trades and suppliers were well executed for the success of the project.
