Leadership

Steve Triance, Chairman

After 35 years in the construction industry Steve has successfully transitioned himself out of ownership and day-to-day management of MBG. With a reduced work schedule Steve has taken on more of an advisory role and mentoring of younger colleagues. He still has the desire to assist past customers with their construction needs and periodically negotiate construction contacts. MBG is very pleased to have Steve around the office whenever we can to draw on his knowledge and experience.

Jonathan Triance, President

After working beside Steve for years, Jonathan officially took on the role of President in 2019. Having an extensive business education and financial background, Jonathan oversees the overall corporate strategy of the business helping his team with direction in finance, sales & marketing, and project management. Jonathan brings sharp attention to detail to his portfolio and enjoys working closely with members of the MBG team and clients alike.

Trent Warkentin, Vice President

With over 26 years of experience in design, estimating and project management, Trent brings a tremendous amount of wisdom and construction knowledge to the MBG group. As well as being an integral part of our executive team Trent also oversees the project management division at MBG. He most enjoys working collaboratively with members of our team, with consultants and with trades to find creative, yet practical design solutions to meet the vision and needs of our clients

Vincent Triance, General Manager

Former Founder of Vision Steel Contracting, Vince joined MBG with a great deal of experience in overseeing operations and construction crews for steel building projects. Vince carefully manages all MBG field operations, ensuring resources and schedules are in place and quality and safety protocols are met. Vince enjoys unveiling project success and building and maintaining meaningful relationships.

Jason Petty, Director of Finance

A strong accounting background coupled with years of senior construction and development experience makes Jason a significant asset for the MBG executive team. Jason manages the accounting department and is responsible for all corporate finance and financial reporting. Jason is a key driver in the execution of MBG’s overall corporate strategy.

Lester Lam, Director of Business Development

With a business degree and service experience Lester joined MBG in a business development role in 2007. As a personable top performing business development professional Lester now also enjoys leading the business development team at MBG. His strong technical skills also aid him, his reports, and our customers find the best valued engineered and efficient solutions for their projects.
