Jonathan Triance, President
After starting with the company in 2006, Jonathan has been at the helm since 2019, and brings a robust blend of business acumen and financial expertise to the Metal Building Group. His leadership is characterized by a strategic vision that guides the company’s overarching goals, including finance, sales, marketing and project management. Jonathan’s commitment to excellence is evident in his meticulous approach to every aspect of the business, as well as his dedication to fostering strong relationships within the MBG team and with clients, ensuring a collaborative and progressive organizational culture.
Trent Warkentin, Vice-President
Boasting over 30 years in design, estimating, and project management with the company, Trent is a cornerstone of wisdom and construction insight within MBG. An essential member of the executive team, Trent also helms the project management division, thriving on collaborative efforts to unearth creative and pragmatic design solutions that resonate with our clients’ visions.
Jason Petty, Director of Finance
Jason’s robust background in accounting, coupled with a seasoned history in construction and development, positions him as a pivotal figure in the MBG executive team. Overseeing the accounting department, Jason is tasked with all facets of corporate finance and financial reporting, playing a crucial role in materializing MBG’s overarching corporate strategy through meticulous fiscal management.
Lester Lam, Director of Business Development
Joining MBG in 2007 with a business degree and a solid foundation in service experience, Lester has ascended to lead our business development efforts with efficacy. As a standout business development professional, Lester not only spearheads the team but also leverages his strong technical acumen to guide his colleagues and our clients toward the most value-engineered and efficient project solutions.
