YVR Ground Run-up Enclosure

MBG Constructors Inc. is proud to be selected for the erection of Canada’s first Ground Run-up Enclosure at YVR Vancouver International Airport. The steel structure installation began in Sept 2011 and is slated for completion in December 2011. This state-of-the-art Ground Run-up Enclosure by Blast Deflectors Inc. is the first of its kind in Canada and will mitigate noise from engine run-ups on the surrounding communities by absorbing and redirecting sound away from residential areas.
